Whether it’s summer reading, arts and craft activities, or special events, we are pleased to offer support that enables the children’s staff at Tenley Library to create new programming as well as enhance existing programs for young patrons and help build the library’s community.
One of the most successful programs funded by the Friends is Lego Construction Crew. Each week more than 25 children attend this free build program. They make houses, gardens, rockets, crazy cars. You name it!
In addition, many books donated to the Friends often are often added to Tenley’s collection to replace lost or damaged children’s material.
